SORT OF A STORY OF THIS PARTICULAR TOD

THE AFTERMATH OF HOTH, VERSION 2

This is another way of how the Rebels could have done stuff after
the loss of their base on Hoth.
Since the attack on Hoth, supplies of fighters have been running low.
Not the fighter equipment, really. Just the tools neccesary to actually
build the ships. The Alliance can always use some more ships, especially
when they can get their supplies free. It just so happened that a small
Rebel probe just happened to float out into the lower left quadrant of the
galaxy, down there abouts. This probe also just happened to pick up some
containers orbiting the planet Binford in the Bilderskuare system. These
containers also just so happened to be holding the exact tools the Alliance
needed to get their ship production up and running again. Except for one of
them. This one seemed to carry some data. It didn't seem like really
important data, after all it is just a bored old probe picking it up. So,
the Alliance said what the hey, and took their slowly growing, yet slowly
shrinking fleet over to the lower left quadrant. And this is where the fun
begins.

WARNIN! DUNNA READ THIS-A PART DOWN 'ERE UNLESS YE WANNA KNOW WHAT 'APPENS
IN THE REST OF THIS TOD, LADDIE!

In Store for you, the lucky guy who downloaded this TOD make especially for
YOU, whoever you are, just so you can have a little more fun before you buy
TIE Fighter (You are going to buy TIE Fighter, right?). In this TOD,
the plot line (there actually is one!!) follows very well with the cut scenes
in TOD 1, which this TOD goes over. The data in the container is indeed
important. I tells about the Imperial Assault on Orion IV, as well as a
secret weapon being developed somewhere in the quadrant. You end up as Ochre
wing, freelance squadron, set out to get some cash, and blow stuff up, since
that's how you got your kicks anyway when you were flying Beevmobiles. So,
you help out the evacuation of Orion IV, rip off some TIE Advanced, which we
like to call Black Squadron, since gray sounded old. You also get to take the
secret weapon, code named Chicago(?!), and send it out to blow up the flagship
of the quadrant, the Trivincible. There was already a couple of Invincibles,
so we made a special name up, just for you. Now stop reading this stuff and
go play X-Wing! LucasArts made it especially for you!
