Mission 3.08a/b - This week's mission is called "Rescue Slaves".

This mission is an either/or mission. 3.08a has you flying in an
A-Wing, while 3.08y has you flying in a Y-Wing.

::Castor leans against the podium, as if the weight of the world is
on his shoulders, and smiles tiredly at some of the pilots as they
pass on their way to their "lucky seats" before the brief begins::

::As the noise dies down quickly, Castor stands a little straighter,
and begins::

This time, our job is to intervene in a sale of slaves. Flame
included the Two Star's schedule of commitments with the information
that she had loaded into the R2 unit which we recovered in the last
mission. Apparently, the Two Star and the Veedrah are conducting
some business which it is our responsibility to disrupt.

We have four objectives in this mission.

First the Slaver Freighter must be captured. To this end, the Cadets
will fly a group of Y-Wings to disable it. A second Cadet flight
group will fly X-Wings and provide cover for Cadet Group 1. They are
to disable the Freighter and then leave.

Second, the Two Star must be destroyed. Grey Flight 2 will use
B-Wings in the assault, and will be covered by Grey Flight 3 in
A-Wings.

Third, the Veedrah must be destroyed. Grey Flight 1 will run this leg
of the mission. Either in A-Wings or Y-Wings, but, in any case, will
assist any other flight group as necessary.

According to Flame's information, the Two Star is very low on
Starfighters, so we don't expect much out of them unless they've been
supplemented with TIEs from the Veedrah. This is, apparently, where
they acquired their TIEs in the earlier missions. We expect the
Veedrah to have less than a full compliment of Starfighters, also, but
this does not preclude them from calling for reinforcements.

Since we expect that the two capital craft will be closely situated to
provide cover for the Freighter, Shock group will enter a while after
you do so that you can clear the way for them.

Fly hard, this one won't be easy.
